The Quest is taking steps at our facility to help our communities and user groups stay safe and healthy. We wish to be diligent about doing our part to prevent more impacts. We also remember that Scripture tells us “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline.
(2 Timothy 1:7)
Our staff is assuring that all aspects of our in-use facility are cleaned and sanitized daily as part of our regular routine. We are also prepared to bring in extra staff as needed to increase the frequency of cleaning when there is a user group at The Quest. We are also ensuring that items like hand sanitizer, additional cleaning supplies, etc are available to all of our patrons.
At this stage, we are suggesting that each user group determine if they wish to continue with their pre-existing bookings. The Quest should be informed of any cancelations at least two weeks in advance of the prearranged booking dates. It is also expected that each user group attending The Quest follow the guidelines put out by Health Canada and WHO (see below).
Regarding Summer Camps: at this stage we anticipate that our camps will continue as planned. As a Board, we will revisit this decision in the weeks to come.
Friends, we have now seen some user groups cancel their bookings, or choose not to book at all. The Quest relies very heavily on these user groups to help pay the bills. While we ride out this storm, please prayerfully consider how you can help The Quest during this challenging time.
